Map, Territory by Repairs

Located in Auckland, New Zealand, REPAIRS deliver intense, emotive music characterized by a fast-paced and loud style. After the positive reception of their debut album Repeat, Repeat in 2020, the band is making a return with the first single from their upcoming second album.

In line with the themes previously explored in Repeat, Repeat, the new track, Map, Territory, serves as a tribute to the common experiences many people have undergone over the past three years. The lyrics expose a sense of impending doom and anxiety, complemented by the repetitive yet propulsive bass and drum elements that heighten the persistent feeling of nervousness.

As, before, the band's guitar-driven noise rock, infused with post hardcore nuances, stands out and presents a punchy and effective sound.
