Chicago's Soft Kill, a renowned act in the contemporary post punk scene, have revealed plans for their upcoming album, Escape Forever, scheduled for release on April 12th, 2024. The band has also introduced the first taste from the album, the single Come Hang From The Roof Tops which showcases a fusion of post punk conventions with a modern flair. The album is mixed by Philip Odom and mastered by Will Yip.
In their new work, Soft Kill endeavors to confront the world's uproar as it seeks to find balance and make peace with the past. Their new track, a prime example of the sharp style of Soft Kill, delves into the familiar territory of post punk while injecting it with a sense of novelty and emotion, presenting a heartfelt exploration of their sound.
