faults. is the independent project of KC Dahlehan, a Swedish artist based in Berlin. Also known as the producer, vocalist, and lead guitarist of the post punk trio Plaisir, KC shifts gears under the faults. flag, going towards a smoother sound, departing from the rough-around-the-edges DIY style while still retaining elements of darkness and influences from dreampop.
The latest single and accompanying video from this project immerses listeners in a chilling Nordic Noir environment. The new track, Sweets, merges post punk and dreampop sensibilities, creating an atmospheric sound.
Described by faults. as "a piece that will push you out into cold, harsh reality only to hand you a blanket and cradle you in cozy sadness," Sweets marks an enchanting acquaintance with the distinct world of faults.
