Inanimate Love is the new single by VR SEX, the post punk act of Drab Majesty's Andrew Clinco, or Noel Skum as he is know for this particular project. The song follows the previously unveiled Real Doll Time which, like the new single, is also part of the upcoming album Hard Copy, releasing on March 22nd, 2024, via Dais Records.
Inanimate Love is being released together with a psychedelic video that enhances the eccentric theme and edgy sound of the music. The clip is edited and animated by Danny Perez.
VR SEX says it's “a short-form, contemporary documentary about humans who are in love with things that have not yet (by definition) achieved ‘sentience’."
On the whole album, Clinco says that they “did that classic thing of a band making the exact record they want without any interference.”
