Inasmuch by Stillmotion

Darkenin Heart

Stillmotion, a prominent band of the nineties shoegaze scene, coined the term 'heavy mellow' to describe their music, a fitting portrayal of their sound's blend of introspection and depth. Collaborating with acclaimed producers such as Kramer (Galaxie 500, Low) and Daevid Vincent (Doom, Half-Life soundtracks), Stillmotion caught the attention of American Recordings, although their anticipated 1995 full-length album never came about.

Renowned for their live performances, Stillmotion shared stages with respected acts like Swell, His Name is Alive, Catherine Wheel, and Medicine, solidifying their reputation within the shoegaze community.

Under the Mutual Skies label, Stillmotion is set to release a compilation of their studio recordings from 1992 to 1995, made possible by the recent discovery of their long-lost master tapes. Among these tracks is Inasmuch, a standout piece that reaffirms the band's significance and provides a glimpse into their appeal.
