Girlfriends and Boyfriends are unveiling their latest album, Lost in the Noise, building on the positive reception garnered by their 2021 release, Fallacy of Fairness. Lost in the Noise takes a reflective stance, presenting two new tracks alongside six previously unreleased recordings from earlier sessions.
One notable inclusion is Lovers in a Dangerous Time, a reimagining of Bruce Cockburn's 1984 classic song. The band approaches the original material with respect while infusing it with a fresh vitality, catering to a more somber audience. Directed by Wayne Moreheart, the accompanying music video complements the song's mellow yet lively atmosphere.
