The upcoming EP Skin Hunger from Berlin's slowcore outfit IPANAZAR was previously introduced with the first single Not Now, followed by its second distinctive track, Gateway. The EP is scheduled for release on May 23rd, 2024.
The song embodies a gentle type of intensity, fusing elements from grunge and slowcore. It's a bass-driven, gritty piece with a dreamy, psychedelic aura, accentuated by haunting female vocals. The track leads to a climax which is both imposing and sentimental, adding an edge to its already powerful sonic environment.
