Nicole Marxen's latest single Thorns, is the title track from her upcoming album, set to release on August 9th, 2024. As a singer-songwriter and visual artist from Dallas, TX, she seamlessly blends striking visuals with atmospheric sounds, creating a unique and notable artistic experience.
On the video director Judd Myers says: “Channeling themes of cycles and compulsion, 'Thorns' is a liminal, giallo-tinged portrait about the transformation that arises in reuniting with what we’ve pushed into the dark.”
Producer Alex Bhore, known for his work on Halo Infinite Multiplayer and Meow Wolf Grapevine, returns to produce Marxen's second album.
Thorns offers an immersive experience, demonstrating Marxen's artistic growth and building upon the sophisticated sound she established in her previous work.
