Married couple Colin Newman of Wire and Malka Spigel of Minimal Compact return with the third installment of their Nanocluster project, continuing their collaboration with the ambient country trio SUSS. State Of Motion, the latest release, is a beautifully atmospheric track that beautifully showcases the unique blend of their respective styles.
It’s a stunning example of the powerful synergy between the electronic post punk influences of Newman and Spigel and the expansive, cinematic Americana soundscapes of SUSS.
