Tan Cologne, the elusive New Mexico duo of Lauren Green and Marissa Macias, return with news of their third studio album, Unknown Beyond, slated for release on June 20th, 2025 via Labrador Records. Along with the announcement, the band shares the hazy and immersive new single, Cloud of Mirrors, complete with an accompanying video.
Marking a distinct evolution in sound and mood, the track sees Tan Cologne delving deeper into atmospheric territory, incorporating richer electronic textures into their dreamlike aesthetic.
The band describes the new song: “'Cloud of Mirrors' is about life happening to you and having to deal with whatever is handed to you – a chemtrail above, being 'over it,' knowing we are all interconnected and a part of the disaster and the beauty. The idea that we are a mirrored image of the sky – manmade or natural, or even simulated. A reflection of everything around you being internally present."
