Always Calling is the second single from Packaging’s forthcoming self-titled debut album which lands on October 10th, 2025 via Share It Music/Sub Pop Records.
The opening track of the expected album transports listeners to a mesmerizing auditory world full of vivid textures and surprising flourishes.
The track features counter melodies by mixer and collaborator Luke Temple (Here We Go Magic, Art Feynman), adding a unique complexity and warmth.
Additionally, Always Calling makes amazing use of a wide range of instrumentation such as clarinet performed by Andreas Wild of Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats, as well as rich textures like a literal deep soothing breath.
