Room 36 by Corpus Delicti
August 06, 2025
Back from the shadows, Corpus Delicti, the acclaimed post punk band that first burst onto the scene in Nice back in 1992, are once again expanding their darkness. Known for their electrifying energy and melodic darkness, the band quickly carved out their place as icons of the underground.
After disbanding in 1997, the original members made a return in 2022, joined by a new addition behind the drums. Their comeback single, Chaos arrived in 2023, and a wave of sold-out shows around the globe and the live double album, From Dust To Light, were met with high praise.
Corpus Delicti are ready to unveil their next chapter. Liminal will be out November 28th, 2025. The new album honors their signature sound while embracing a modern edge, with timeless post punk energy and a bold twist.
The first single, Room 36, sets the tone. It’s haunting, intense, and visually stunning thanks to a collaboration with contemporary artist Jean-Luc Verna whose artwork graces the album cover. Verna also appears in the music video, adding a surreal layer that blurs the line between music and avant-garde art.
It’s as if they never left. Corpus Delicti are back, and they’ve brought along something beautifully dark and thrilling.
