From Minneapolis comes SHRIVE, a new band already making plenty of noise, with a literal interpretation. Their sound hits like a sudden crash, and it's all volume, driven by an energy that feels alive.
Faceless, taken from their first EP, Leach, has a quite raw edge and as the EP opener, it makes a strong impression. It pulls from noise rock, post hardcore, sludge and even krautrock. What stands out most is how naturally SHRIVE blend those elements into a sound that's locked-in from the first moment.
