Truce opens Amends, the first full length release from Denver’s Circling Over, and immediately sets an emotional tone that can be really dominant, not only for the six-minute track, but the entire release.
Rather than relying solely on a heavy and rough sound, the band layers shimmering atmospheres and lush guitar tones, uniting the beautiful instrumental work into dense yet carefully balanced arrangements. The production is rich, allowing every element to breathe and resonate.
Formed in 2022, Circling Over has steadily built a sound that blends post metal depth with shoegaze haze, all wrapped in an atmospheric scope. Signed to Braeburn Records, the band revealed Amends on August 8th, 2025.
