Screenplay is featured on AITIS BAND IV, the latest album from Aitis Band, out October 10th via Ernest Jenning Record Co. Produced by their former bandmate Nate Kinsella, the album marks the group’s fourth full length release.
Formed in 2019, Aitis Band brings together former Joan of Arc members Bobby Burg (Love of Everything) and Melina Ausikaitis, joined by visual artist and musician Ray Borchers. This trio continues to push creative boundaries with a sound that's both experimental and emotive.
Screenplay explores poetic absurdity and dark introspection, combining everyday details into a mix that playfully mocks cinematic drama while remaining sentimentally pure.
Since their start, Aitis Band has toured across the US, sharing the stage with artists like Dry Cleaning, Circuit des Yeux, Black Dice, Parquet Courts, Jesus Lizard, No Age, Robert AA Lowe, Ryley Walker, Dustin Wong, Air Waves, and Man on Man, including a Midwest tour supporting American Football.
