Dead and Over (Live) by Down The Lees

Down The Lees present a new version of their song Dead and Over, from their upcoming live album and film, This Is What It Feels Like. The new rendition finds the band delivering a very emotive rendition of a track that is themed on the burnout and the difficulties women face within the music industry.

For Down The Lees' Laura Lee Schultz, this is a personal song, written during the timed of the pandemic, when she was reflecting on her destiny as a musician, deliberating on what lies ahead. This new take gives off a more direct impression that the original release from 2023, and finds the group in a very emotional state.

This Is What It Feels Like will come out on March 5th, 2026. The project was filmed by Irisphere Entertainment and mixed by Jesse Gander (ANCIIENTS, Brutus).
