crashing out is the third single from Cathedral Bells’ upcoming album, set for release on April 10th, 2026. Now based in Los Angeles, the project traces its origins to Cassadaga, Florida, where it first emerged from a deep affection for obscure analog sounds and a hazy dreampop and shoegaze palette.
Drawing on influences from the eighties, nineties, and early 2010s, Cathedral Bells continues to build on a foundation of dreampop, with touches of post punk mood and a gentle, melodic softness that shapes the project’s sound. crashing out carries all of these elements, unfolding with a quiet romanticism and leaving behind an enduring, bittersweet afterglow.
