Berlin-based artist William Bleak shares the new single Ghost Waltz via Breathing Records. Recently signed to the underground label, Bleak is preparing the release of his debut album for the imprint. It is expected to be an intense record whose sound profile is steeped in darkness and smartly borrows from industrial and EBM.
Described by the artist as a “digital demolition of the senses,” the track emerged from a series of long nights experimenting with analog synthesizers, exploring the shifting space between human presence and digital force while stacking up waves of increasingly dense noise.
“Ghost Waltz,” Bleak says, is a single “for losing yourself in the moment—and staying lost.”
Here, the gloom feels intrinsic and has the potential to deepen, and the song is unquestionably an outstanding way to introduce the album.
