Violence by Hands First

Darkenin Heart

Brooklyn outfit Hands First takes the jagged pulse of post punk and turns it into something more acute, louder, and completely explosive. What began as a loose group of friends sharing riffs has evolved into a concentrated band, led by vocalist Camden Phalen, whose blunt approach transforms personal anger into something collective.

The band's latest song, Violence, is the second in a planned series of singles leading up to their debut full length album. Hands First deals with the slow ache of habit and the boiling wrath that comes with being stuck.

The music coils with the accuracy of a climactic instance speeding toward its breaking point, remaining steady until it is no longer secure.
