Azure Rose make their entrance with Lights Come Down, a debut single powered by the vision of Toronto scene veteran Justin Grant. Born from a fragment left in the wake of an earlier project, the idea for this act grew into something expansive, sculpted over time through collaboration and a near‑ritual attention to detail.
Recorded and mixed by renowned producer Andy Magoffin, the track is further elevated by the presence of celebrated multi‑instrumentalist Derek Downham, a collaborator of Broken Social Scene, Andy Kim, and many more.
With its stacked guitars, tactile vocals, and deep atmospheric pull, Lights Come Down transforms classic shoegaze richness into a sweeping swell.
The single serves as the first introduction to Azure Rose’s upcoming full length album Blue Drops, due in Fall 2026.
