Greek band Youth Valley return with Pills, the band’s newest single and the second advance cut from their anticipated record. The song moves in a blur of bleached‑out shoegaze and tense post punk undercurrent, with its crashing guitars cutting through a voice that feels deliberately distant.
Beneath its dense atmosphere, Pills explores depression, therapy, numbness, and self-destruction with striking emotional weight. At its core, it reflects on the shock of adulthood and the slow loss of innocence. What once promised clarity and purpose instead gives way to emotional disconnection, exhaustion, self-medication, and the daily effort of staying present in a world that keeps wearing everyone down.
