Child of Night return with Quiet, the final single that heralded their second full length, Conspiracy. Still rooted firmly in the band’s cold, synth-driven sound, the new track marks a subtle shift as the group incorporates live drums for the first time without sacrificing the tension and shadow that define their aesthetic.
Leaning into dark synthpop with an ominous undercurrent, Quiet pulses with restrained menace. The electronics remain sharp and claustrophobic while the live percussion adds a heavier physicality beneath the surface. Vocally, the track carries a sense of unease throughout, matching lyrics that confront oppression, paranoia, and enforced silence.
“This song is about living in a repressive political state and being pressured to keep quiet," the band says.
Conspiracy follows as the band’s second album release and arrives through Phage Tapes.
