Wolfschmidt unveil their new track, whaler, taken from the forthcoming album INSUFFICIENT FAILURE. Written, recorded, and produced entirely in the band’s Gothenburg studio, the song has already surfaced in live sets across Europe, including a preview at New Colossus Festival in New York.
There’s a steady undercurrent of emotional surrender running through the track’s haze, a deep, transformative space where dissolution feels both frightening and inviting. Soft, almost spectral vocals drift through the dense instrumental fog, creating a vivid tension between fragility and overwhelming sonic weight.
