Money for the Honey by Noir Addiction

Darkenin Heart

Italian trio Noir Addiction return with Money for the Honey, a sharp burst of alternative rock, darkwave, and industrial energy that leans into massive hooks and dancefloor-ready grooves. Following the success of viral single Serve Me Some Crime, the band doubles down on infectious melodies without sacrificing its darker edge.

Driven by punchy guitars, pulsing synths, and one of the band's most immediate choruses yet, Money for the Honey explores attraction, desire, and the complex impulses that bring people together. It's a track that pairs moody atmospheres with direct, memorable songwriting, wrapped in electro-metal intensity.

Founded by vocalist, guitarist, and producer Sonny Lanegan alongside drummer Roberto Catanzaro and keyboardist/percussionist Nessie Zorba, Noir Addiction continue refining a sound where industrial textures, alternative rock, and darkwave collide with melodic appeal.

Frontman Sonny Lanegan comments: “‘Money for the Honey’ is about the things we chase when we know they probably won’t give us what we're looking for. There’s desire in it, there’s attraction, but there’s also that feeling of searching for something more. The song plays with those contradictions and leaves room for people to find their own meaning in it.

“The phrase ‘Love me for the money, taste me for the honey’ became a kind of centerpiece for the song. It’s playful on the surface, but it also hints at the different reasons people connect with each other and the expectations we bring into relationships.”
