God Tongue contribute their track, the end, to Made By Humans, a new compilation from Wie Ein Gott Records bringing together some of the label’s favourite artists from the contemporary underground.
Built around a minimal darkwave pulse, the track pushes the project’s sound towards an especially potent peak. Its stripped-back foundation carries an infectious momentum, while the surrounding atmosphere remains nocturnal, imposing and steeped in the shadowy moodiness God Tongue consistently summon.
Equally club-ready and nightmarish, the end is darkwave at its most immediate and commanding, a surely brilliant track engineered for dance floors after midnight.
