French act Dark Minimal Project turn emotional resistance into cold electronic tension on I’m Not in Love. Released through Danse Macabre Records, the track follows the classic lines of darkwave and EBM, combining hypnotic repetition, severe synth textures and dancefloor propulsion with an unmistakably gothic character.
I’m Not in Love is a love song trapped inside its own denial. The title’s insistence makes the suppressed feeling more apparent, creating friction between emotional vulnerability and the disciplined machinery surrounding it.
Founded in 2021 by Guillaume Vanderosieren and Ange Vesper, Dark Minimal Project have established a distinct identity at the intersection of dark electro, minimal synth and EBM. Since releasing their debut album, Cold Black Room, in 2022, the duo have produced three albums and seen their music reworked by genre figures including Front 242 and Das Ich.
