Swedish goth newcomers Aethereals descend into dark romanticism on Sleep, a track from their three-song EP, Echoes. Rooted in classic post punk, the band favor expansive, atmospheric songwriting, creating music that feels steeped in underground tradition while retaining an immediate character of its own.
Sleep pairs a timeless mood with a sense of forward movement. Its spacious, dark-minded sound introduces a band focused on atmosphere and emotional depth and not direct gothic rock revivalism.
Released in September, 2026, Echoes presents Aethereals’ developing vision across three tracks. The EP also serves as an early passage toward the band’s debut full length album, which is currently in the works.
