Dlina Volny confront the psychological toll of living in a reality where truth is continually distorted on Vochy, transforming anger at corruption and authoritarian abuse into a deeply personal document of inner conflict.
Sung in Belarusian which is a first for the Minsk-born trio, the track carries particular emotional and political weight. Its driving pulse and cinematic electronics create an atmosphere of constant pressure, while spectral female vocals cut through the darkness with controlled defiance.
They describe: "Vochy is a manifesto against lies and abuse of power. It’s a diary entry about internal struggle, the inability to tolerate the abuse of power, and an attempt to make sense of yourself within an endless stream of information and lies."
Operating between Warsaw and London, Dlina Volny continue to connect the stark tradition of post punk with the melodic immediacy of darkwave and synthpop.
