Chalice Sect have come up with another new single, the fierce and flaming Fire In The Sound.
Brooding synthesizers inject a surprising melodic radiance into Fire In The Sound, illuminating the track's otherwise imposing weight. Chalice Sect build upon that contrast, balancing menace and momentum through a propulsive post-punk rhythm and tightly coiled vocal delivery.
The performance carries considerable weight without sacrificing control, its intensity enhanced by a richly detailed production that reveals new layers with each listen. As the lead single from the new EP Finis Initii, the track finds the Los Angeles project refining its identity, combining darkwave with physical force, post punk detail and a distinct sense of precision.
