Sydney-based dreampop quartet SUIIX unveil the music video for their impressive recent single The Great Nothing, a hypnotic track which will be part of their upcoming debut album.
The video was filmed in the bushland of Little Jilliby, NSW by director Luke Fuller with minimal means. The captured lo-fi footage evolved into something artful by way of the editing and visual FX by Brenton Cassidy, and the final result externalizes the music's mood and atmosphere.
Luke Fuller comments on the clip: “I wanted to create a contorted dream that feels as if it was stumbled upon, like a relic that calls to you. A dark loop that lures you in, leaving you lost and doomed to the abyss.”
