Ahead of their album Glass Fate which comes out in October 2021, Chicago-based experimental dreampop band Desert Liminal release Watercolor, their new single which is inspired in equal parts by the writing of Ottessa Moshfegh, the history of Heaven's Gate, and falling in love.
"A pretty, melodic meditation on the pain of losing someone you love to cult-like thinking, and the power of a firmly-planted dangerous thought," the band describe, as they come through with traditional instrumental means and a lo-fi sound which devises something distinct and genre bending.
