Following the success of their first single So Long, upcoming Italian post punk band Leatherette have released another track from their anticipated debut album Fiesta. In the same vein, the band display their post punk force once again.
For this one, the band end up taking a more targeted approach, sounding louder and more energized, and writing shorter songs. It's a piece of music about desiring for a better life and having a go at the world when absolutely required.
The band explain: "Sunbathing was almost born as a joke, it came out of nowhere. We wanted to write a happy cheesy pop song and then completely destroy it from within."
Fiesta releases on October 14th, 2022 through Bronson Recordings.
