We Will Live On is the upcoming album by Benjamin Wynn aka Deru that was written against the prospect of all the ongoing crises that we are undergoing as a society. Following The Way Through the Forest, The Dirt is the second piece from it to be released.
The Dirt perfectly expresses the sound and idea of how a digitally controlled piano allows for the exploration of playing techniques that are beyond the capabilities of a human player, with factors like phasing, density and tempo.
We Will Live On will be out on October 28th, 2022 through Friends of Friends.
