Kakistocracy by Maruja

Darkenin Heart

Psychedelic jazz-punks Maruja share their debut EP Knocknarea, already instituting themselves to be among the most stunning volatile bands currently emerging from Manchester, UK. The four-track EP includes the recent singles Thunder, Blind Spot, and The Tinker, along with the brand new track Kakistocracy.

Kakistocracy, which translates to "rule of the villains," perfectly expresses the ferocious intensity of the band and their rebellious nature.

Post rock landscapes that conjure images of impending doom and a disturbing powerful emotional release play off against a scorching ferocity, and give off a solemn and resolute release for the band.
