Sea Change by Avalyn

Darkenin Heart

Avalyn is a new four-piece band originating from Liverpool. Their sound brings a fresh perspective to the genres of shoegaze, post punk, and indie rock. Andy Power and Grace Woolston take on the role of lead vocalists, while Max Lalonde handles the lead guitar, and Maxime Meunier is on drums. With their early offerings, the band produces pop-infused singles that incorporate unique soundscapes, and sound heartfelt.

Sea Change serves as the second single by Avalyn, which shows the band's evolution and achievement so far. They aimed to merge the ethereal qualities of shoegaze and dreampop with modern pop melodies and sincere lyrics that express the pain of losing those who were once dear.

The track was produced by Robert Whiteley, known for his work with The Night Cafe and The Wombats, and mastered by Mark Gardener from the band RIDE.
