Boy With Apple are a shoegaze / dreampop band hailing from Gothenburg, Sweden, formed in 2019 and unveiled their debut release in 2020. Since then, they have been working in the studio to finalize the recordings for their first ever album. The group, consisting of longtime friends Saga, Zara, Tim, and Nils, occasionally ventures into unconventional musical paths, evident in their compositions, but despite these genre-defying moments, the extensive richness and atmospheric quality of their music remains palpable.
Boy With Apple's, GBG Hills, exudes a joyful vibe with an infusion of classic Swedish indie rock elements. True to the band's artistic intent, beneath the upbeat surface lies a deeper narrative addressing mental health, isolation, and an overarchingly dark mood.
