The highly anticipated sequel to THYMIAN's first album, Rhythm of Doubt, is the second EP, White Knuckled. So far, the release has produced a few standout singles. The title track, which was inspired by an alarming incident, is revealed to convey feelings of panic and fear.
After experiencing extreme physical and mental exhaustion for months, THYMIAN drove through the Gotthard road tunnel. He realized not soon enough that the ventilation system was on, and the car was now full of exhaust emissions. The ability to breathe became more difficult, and visibility grew worse, and panic hit. After an emergency stop, the co-driver resumed control and eventually drove out into the light at the end of the tunnel. A persistent fear remained even after the panic went away.
Natascha Vavrina directed a music video that successfully depicts what happened. Young & Cold Records releases the White Knuckled EP, which was co-produced with Alterna Studios' Philippe Laffer.
