Hollywood Signs by Kramies

Darkenin Heart

Kramies returns in October 2025 with his promising new album Goodbye Dreampop Troubadour, a record that feels both intimate and expansive. The first single, Hollywood Signs, sets the tone perfectly, as a hushed song, soothing on the surface yet tinged with something quietly unsettling.

Drifting between dreams and memory, the song balances sharp production with the hazy textures of indie-psychedelic rock, echoing the spirit of the 2000s.

For this album, Kramies widens his artistic universe by teaming up with acclaimed producer Mario McNulty (David Bowie). Remarkably, Kramies himself performed nearly all of the instrumentation, layering it into a world that feels deeply personal and cinematic.

Hollywood Signs unfolds like a film reel of fleeting youth, full of beauty, crumbling city nights, and bittersweet reflections on love and loss. It’s complicated and romantic, wrapping fractured emotions in a haze of whimsical resignation. If the single is any indication, Goodbye Dreampop Troubadour promises to be one of Kramies’ most evocative works yet.
