Live at Beaux-Arts de Paris by Bank Myna

Darkenin Heart

BANK MYNA’s sound exists within a space where restraint itself becomes overwhelming. For listeners drawn to dark, emotionally dense music steeped in hypnotic atmosphere and crushing heavy sounds, their entrancing live session performance of No Ocean Of Thoughts and The Shadowed Body feels absolutely essential. Rather than simply performing these compositions, the Paris-based quartet transform them into towering sonic ceremonies, vulnerable and consuming all at once.

Recorded on February 4th, 2026 inside the chapel of the Beaux-Arts de Paris, the session possesses a raw, natural and gritty energy that perfectly complements the band’s uncompromising vision. Every moment feels guided by a deliberate sense of atmosphere and emotional weight, with BANK MYNA allowing tension and texture to unfold intrinsically in pursuit of something human and cathartic.

Featuring two pieces from the band’s latest album EIMURIA, No Ocean Of Thoughts and The Shadowed Body, the performance drifts through slow-burning movements of doom, slowcore and post rock, shaped as much by the acoustics and history of the chapel as by the band themselves. The result appears emotionally suffocating in the best possible way.

Directed by Maureen Piercy, the film embraces a visual language that expresses both the materiality of the chapel and the intensity of the performance itself.
