Father Pain (Remix by Max Varani) by Ghost Enclave

Italian darkwave trio Ghost Enclave revisit the shadows of their debut album with Max Varani’s remix of Father Pain. Originally featured on 2025’s Toten Danse, the track now emerges in an altered form, with Varani reshaping its darkness rather than simply reproducing it.

Formed in 2022, Ghost Enclave brought together three musicians from contrasting backgrounds, ranging from alternative rock to doom metal. Their shared desire to escape established comfort zones led them toward a raw, minimal and introspective fusion of post punk and darkwave.

Released by Swiss Dark Nights in November 2025, Toten Danse served as their declaration of rebirth, a melodic yet urgent record driven by emotional depth rather than genre convention.

Max Varani’s treatment of Father Pain extends that original impulse. Instead of closing the chapter surrounding the album, the remix finds another way through it, revealing a different shape within the same darkness.
