Night becomes a source of renewal on Full Moon Factory, the new single by The Capsules in which they imagine human connection as an endless electrical current, transforming an intimate exchange into something communal, strange and briefly transcendent. It comes across as a dream and everything at once.
The Dallas-based trio let that idea unfold through repetition rather than force. Kevin Trevino’s tom-heavy rhythm supplies a warm, steady pulse, while Julie Shields’ floating vocals move through an arrangement suspended between dark synthpop, dreampop and shoegaze. There is darkness in its atmosphere, but also the exhilaration of feeling the world suddenly return to life.
Miranda Parkin translates that mood into handmade animation for the song’s horror-inspired video, placing the band inside a moonlit tale filled with eerie humor.
Released by Graveface Records, Full Moon Factory opens the path toward The Capsules’ next album, due in early 2027.
